Brandy Speaks with Bradley Honan who heads Hilary Clinton’s direct mail and voting targeting program for her 2008 Presidential bid. He gives insight on the phenomenon of Micro-targeting, where focus was taken off traditional demographic attributes, like race, gender and age. This election cycle, more focus has been placed on psychographics, which are attributes, like core attitudes, core beliefs and core values. He postulates that using this information to target people is a far better indicator of who will purchase your product and/or vote for your candidate.
