Lots of changes going on over at Google and they are only getting started.

December 4th Google announced more personalized search results for their users.

Google also announced recently they have integrated REAL-time search. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace are being integrated into the search results.

After the first of the year, Google will be performing a major update called Caffeine that will be shaking up more than a few website rankings.
